How upset many of us are. Today going into Byrne Dairy for my milk, I was told they are closing both stores this WEEK! What a shame, we’ve been shopping there for over 45 yrs and we need it in my neighborhood. Please stop and write letters or sign their petition in the store NOW. Very upsetting. We need you Shawn to talk to the officials at Bryne.

I witnessed and was part of a wonderful and inspiring program today at the Hornell High School. Rachel’s Challenge is an amazing way to get ALL people to realize the good in others. I hope the students were as inspired as I was and that they too can start a chain reaction of kindness in our community and beyond. I applaud all involved for making this happen.

I just wanted Mr Yates, Sharon, Mike, Rob, Mindy, Brenda, Cindy and Danny know how very sorry I was to see this terrible news. Your mom was a Great Lady! She always did take all of us in. She did alot for us with rides to and from practices and games. She never minded having all of “Us” The Fremont Crew hanging out at your house. She was such a sweet person to everyone! My condolences go out to the Yates family for their loss of their mom and wife Diane.
She was a very sweet lady and I was one of the fortunate people to have her watch my youngest son after school.
I also grew up with their children and was and still am good friends with their daughters Sharon and Mindy.
She will be missed greatly by me and the town of Stephens Mills.

There is a story on the Tribune web page about cougar’s in the area. Someone sent a picture to me of a guy holding a cougar that he supposedly hit with his vehicle somewhere in the Belmont-Scio area.
